SHOE (Simple HTML Ontology Extensions) is an XML-compatible knowledge representation language for the Web. It allows web pages to be described in the context of one or more publicly available ontologies, which provide semantics for reasoning about the contents. This site contains tools for marking up and querying SHOE, sample ontologies, research publications, and a SHOE-based search engine.
