SCHEMAS provides a forum for metadata schema designers involved in projects under the IST Programme and national initiatives in Europe. The SCHEMAS project is funded as part of the Information Society Technologies (IST) Programme, a theme of the European Union's Fifth Framework Programme managed by the Information Society Directorate-General of the European Commission.
