Irish software house IONA are known worldwide for its highly successful CORBA implementation, ORBIX. Its new Orbix End to Anywhere (E2A) platform restates the CORBA credo for the web services world. Application adapters exist for the leading middleware technologies which expose systems through WSDL, SOAP, XML and UDDI.
